About Us

At the Northwest Church of Christ, our mission is to empower individuals and families through the teaching of Jesus Christ and the life-changing power of God’s Word. Guided by Romans 12:1-2, we believe true transformation begins by studying, understanding, and applying biblical principles to everyday life. Our goal is to help people grow spiritually, strengthen their faith, and develop a deeper relationship with God through Bible-based teaching, worship, prayer, and fellowship.

Our vision is to share the Gospel throughout Detroit and the surrounding communities while building a loving, Christ-centered church family. Inspired by Matthew 28:18-20, we are committed to spreading the message of salvation, serving others with compassion, and making disciples of Christ. We strive to reflect the love described in I Corinthians 13:4-7 and live according to the teachings of Christ found in II Corinthians 10:3-5.

Whether you are searching for a Bible-based church in Detroit, looking for spiritual growth, or seeking a welcoming church community, Northwest Church of Christ is a place where faith, love, and purpose come together.
